Event Details

There is increasing awareness and interest in the use of cannabis for therapeutic purposes, but clinicians may lack the education needed to engage in informed discussions with patients. Current legislation both at the federal and state level make it highly confusing for patients and clinicians regarding the medical utility and legality of even having these discussions. With more states passing legislation for recreational cannabis use, the development of new cannabis based pharmaceutical products, and a commercial market flooded with other CBD products, more patients are self-medicating without the proper professional counseling. Gain direction on how to safely and legally address these issues, and how to best help patients in decision making.
